PENNCREST is committed to the philosophy that all children can learn. The needs of exceptional children are met through a full continuum of services, from inclusion in regular classes in neighborhood schools to full-time classrooms, provided by PENNCREST or through contract with the Intermediate Unit 5. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in their child’s education from Early Intervention transition to public school through Secondary School Transition Planning for graduation and beyond. The district provides local special education coordination and psychological services.
